As a mechanical engineer, design engineer and tool maker by trade, I've spent countless hours rebuilding Land Rovers. I rebuilt a 1974 Series 3, and I'm currently deep into a 1954 Series 1. I'll spend hours trying to save an original part because it feels wrong to replace it if it can be brought back to life.
But sometimes parts are too far gone â or impossible to find. That's why I've been carefully redesigning certain components in CAD, staying true to the originals while keeping costs reasonable. The goal: help restorers keep their vehicles authentic.
