I'm Kimberley Attwell â a mechanical engineer, design engineer and tool maker by trade. When not at work designing and developing cutting edge robotic products, you'll find me in the workshop rebuilding Land Rovers, chasing down obscure parts, and learning the hard way that not all information online is accurate, and not all parts are created equal.
I rebuilt a 1974 Series 3 and I'm currently deep into a 1954 Series 1. I'm the kind of person who will spend hours trying to save an original part because it just feels wrong to replace it if it can be brought back to life.
Every restoration tells a story. This is mine.
See the transformation from weathered classics to restored beauties
Complete ground-up restoration. From a rusty paddock find to a show-quality classic.
Current project. Bringing this piece of history back to its former glory.
When parts are impossible to find, I redesign them in CAD, staying true to the originals while keeping costs reasonable

Every restoration starts with a vision and ends with countless hours of careful, methodical work. From stripping paint to rebuilding engines, from welding patches to color-matching original finishes â it's all done right here.
It's not always glamorous, but it's always worth it when you see the final result.
